Zinc Sulphate Granular

(1)   Heptahydrate

* Main Content: Water soluble Zinc as percent of total Zinc: 95 percent minimum.

* Total Zinc content, percentage by weight  minimum 21 percent.

* Sulphur (as SO₄-S) content percent by weight  minimum 10.5 percent.

* Magnesium (Mg), percent by weight, maximum 1.0 percent.

* Copper (Cu), percent by weight, maximum 0.1 percent

* Ph Value not less than 4.0.

* Matter insoluble in water, percent by weight maximum 1.0 percent

* Moisture content (free water), percent by weight maximum 5.0 percent.

* Particle size 90 percent of the material shall pass through 3-1 mm BDS sieve.

* Physical Condition- Granular, free flowing.

* Arsenic (as As) -50 PPM maximum.

* Cadmium (as Cd) - 10 PPM maximum.

* Lead (as Pb) 100 PPM maximum.

* Mercury (as Hg) - 5 PPM maximum.

* Chromium (as Cr) - 500 PPM maximum.

* Nickel (as Ne) 50 PPM maximum.

* Size: 2-4 mm

(2) Monohydrate

* Main Content: Water soluble Zinc as percent of total Zinc: 95 percent minimum.

* Total Zinc content, percentage by weight  minimum: 33.5 percent.

* Sulphur (as SO₄-S) content percent by weight minimum 17.5 percent.

* Moisture content (free water), percent by weight maximum 2.0 percent.

* Particle size 90 percent of the material shall pass through 4-2 mm IS sieve.

* Physical Condition- Granular, free flowing.

* Arsenic (as As) -50 PPM maximum.

* Cadmium (as Cd) - 10 PPM maximum.

* Lead (as Pb) 10 PPM maximum.

* Mercury (as Hg) - 5 PPM maximum.

* Chromium (as Cr) - 500 PPM maximum.

* Nickel (as Ne) 50 PPM maximum.
